Natalie has been involved in theatre since she was 4 years old. She has had lead roles in Peter Rabbit, The Sound of Music, Jack and the Beanstalk, The Wizard of Oz, Othello, MacBeth, Oliver!, The 39 Steps, The Memory of Water and Blank to name a few.
For two years Natalie played the lead female role in Smashed, a professional touring acting company. She has directed Roald Dahl’s The Witches and Spike Milligan’s Bad Jelly the Witch.
Natalie has taught Trinity College Speech & Drama for the past 18 years and continues to shape future local talent teaching at Hereworth School & Iona College. She is one of 3 New Zealand International Trinity College of London Drama examiners examining Speech & Drama, Musical theatre, Performance Arts and Communication skills throughout New Zealand and when travel opens up, she will be traveling the world to examine. Natalie has had a dance background including performances with the Royal New Zealand Ballet and she also loves choreography. Off stage, Natalie is kept very busy with her 5 beautiful children, 1 grandchild and a very supportive husband!
Natalie’s hobbies includes breeding ‘posh’ cats, gardening and enjoying their lifestyle block in Hawke’s Bay.
Hester Salomon has been an exciting and challenging role. The cast and crew have been an absolute dream to work with. I feel extremely honoured to be part of NTC’s first production Equus.
